Usually don't bother and take the chance
Last extended warranty I took out was for this ppppppcccccc <doh> :D ,extra 2 years,and in that time I've had the DVD unit replaced
Took a chance with the TV and that lasted over 7 years before developing a fault
(That's now awaiting repair)
The question is,do I take out cover for the PS3 ?
Over the years,I've had to replace a couple of consoles,(still have one that only reads DVD roms and not CD's,the other was exchanged for the slimline version,due to increasing amount of noises coming from it ) and they all seemed to play up after the warranty has expired <think>
I have a couple of days left before making a decision
