Sitting here at Donington and out in the Radical World Cup is non other than Rally Ace, Colin McRae.

He's been known to race most things, bu this was quite a surprise.

That's interesting! I thought he was driving a Porsche?

It is deffinately a Radical (an open top SportsCar with a motorcycle 1100cc engine)

Will post his results from both races later.

How many times did he fall off the circuit in search of a more familiar environment? oh and did he bring Nicky with him?

McRae kept it on the island for Both races, he is a very accomplished racer, and has super car control.

ah gutted! i was really looking forward to this, but the gold cup will always take precedence over LMS unfortunately. how was the race, harvey? i haven't seen the results...i saw jan lammers had pulled out but did pescarolo make it? i know they're skint too. i did see something about peter hardman doing well in a DBR9 which is great news, he's a personal hero of mine since seeing him clear up in prosport3000 when i was a nipper. how did the radical SR9 fare? looks like a great addition to the LMP2 grid! sorry for the plethora of questions, i'm just totally gutted i missed the meeting.

in fact going back to the original thrust of the thread, i remember seeing colin mcrae in an ASCAR race supporting champ car at rockingham and he was mega. not 100% successful but was closer to the wall than any of the other star turns who were racing at the series' inception...impressive stuff.

Unfortunately I only have 1, possibly 2 of McRae, (but loads of the LMS race) I will put it up tonight. I am still sorting the 6 hour race (see LMS thread)
