Bayliss even made a mistake in the first sector!

I wish I could be optimistic about this race but even though the Suzuki's are fast in a straight line I can't see anything other than a Bayliss double.

Monza is BACK! After years of races that couldn't match up to the slipstreaming thrillers of the Foggy era (mainly due to that stupid chicane). There were two close and exciting races today.

Max Neukirchner got his deserved first victory in race 1 cooly using the power of the Suzuki to keep Haga behind at the end. Haga swarmed all over Max and they traded places with Bayliss and Yukio Kagayama who kept missing chicanes and going off.

Race 2 was the main course after the appetiser of the first. Pretty much everything that could happen did. Bayliss had his first failure of the year, Corser and Checa bashed into each other.

But the main event was the epic three way fight between Neukircher, Haga and Kiyonari. Kiyo was catching the early leaders all the way through the race. Nori and Max were exchanging the lead. On the last lap Kiyo managed to force his way into the lead only to be spectacularly mugged by Norik and Max right at the finish coming out of Parabolica.

Bayliss still has a large championship lead, but when racing is this good who cares?
