Title: Turkish GP - Drivers of the Day
RJHSaints - May 11, 2008 01:49 PM (GMT)
Choose up to three drivers.

I went for Massa, Hamilton and Kovalainen. Massa because of the win, the other two because of outstanding individual efforts and being on the ragged edge all afternoon. Heikki was unlucky.

Hamilton and Alonso for extracting the absoluete maximum out of their cars.
Kimi for driving with a broken front wing all afternoon and coming damn close to a victory.

Raikkonen's front wing was fine, as evidenced by the fact he set the fastest lap of the race somewhere in the middle of the race, well after he tapped Kovalainen on the first lap, causing Kova's puncture.
Of course, this thread is hardly the place for this discussion. However, if you want to take it up in the race thread, I'd be glad to discuss it.

No, it wasn't fine.
He said it broke in the press conference and you can clearly see this on the replay.
The fact that he extracted that sort of pace out of the car despite those problems show you the sheer class of Raikkonen. Only Alonso and possibly Hamilton could drive around a situation like that.

Moving this little argument to race discussion thread. <thumbsup>

Massa. Total domination
Lewis great job with a odd (but necessary) pit sequence (and holding off Kimi)
Alonso for getting the pos Renault up in the results.
