I hate reading reports like THIS

My thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and marshals and medics who attended the incident.

Seems like this rally has a history of bad luck

This From Last year

and this from 2005

Condolances to friends and family

I'll leave this here for a while and then move to UK Motorsport

I know this is one for the admins / mods etc to watch and I know some will know as I do who the driver was, but can we not speculate who it is before all next of kin have been announced? Apologies if sound harsh and aware no-one is speculating yet, but you never know...seen it a few times before!

This accident involving the death of one of the competitors does not seem to have been the only biggy of the day as aware of at least one other, involving Andy Burton (who as far as I know is ok as is his son / co-driver).

Condolences to the driver's family, and friends - but let's not forget he was doing something he enjoyed as well, though am sure he would never have wished this to happen. RIP.

Not a problem. I'm sure if any speculation starts, any offending threads will be removed pdq.
