Best entry for several years. Not sure I can make the race but will be at LMS at Donington. Missed last year's race due to the clash with the Oulton Park Gold Cup. Hope the Peugeot's as quick as it looks. The 905 was a sensational car; I hope it proves a good omen...

I might be at Le Mans and will definitely be at Silverstone for the 1000ks.

Is it Silverstone again? Was at the race in 2005 and got rained on in the worst possible way! Spent 6hrs sat on my own freezing my arse off haha! I'd rather it was at DP as it's closer to Leeds, especially as I'll be at the FIA GTs a few months earlier for similar racing.
Doubt we'll be at Le Mans, my dad got scared off after my cousin's friend was beaten up really badly in an unprovoked attack. Only been once but it left me in tears of joy, even if it was 2000 when the Audi steamroller began! Can't afford to go alone so will try get to Spa for something instead.
Who's your money on for this year's race?

It was a tad wet in 05 at S'stone. Last time at Le Mans for me was 03 with the Bentleys.

Tell me about it! I spent the whole of the CES race sat at Bridge in the rain before realising I could sit on the pit straight under cover for free! What a drive by McNish, really reinforced his reputation for me.
2003 would've been a great year to go! Like 1988, good to cheer on the Brits in the traditional way!

I spent the whole 6 hours running up and down the pitlane fetching pit reports and dodging the R8. Needless to say I got a tad wet.

I can imagine! So what date is this year's 1000kms? It doesn't clash with Goodwood or the Gold Cup does it?

Brilliant dude, cheers! Looking like a really good year for sportscar racing. Will try to attend the AMOC meeting at Oulton Park the day before as well...My birthday that week so I'll be wanting some racing action!
Startline Ed - February 27, 2007 10:13 PM (GMT)
I shall be sleeping that week as that is the week after the Britcar 24hrs. So I am going to be getting in a lot of endurance racing.
The STIG - February 27, 2007 10:28 PM (GMT)
and I shall also be sleeping owing to doing the 24 hours again...
Want to team up on post again Eddy?
Startline Ed - February 27, 2007 10:32 PM (GMT)
Why not. It was a laugh last time, except maybe this year I can actually do Startline. Otherwise I could end up permanently on the bank.

Isn't it amazing that we are lucky enough to have these events in this country?! Might try the 24hrs this year, would be a very lonely day unless I could find some company!
