To anyone who may have been planning to go, RoK 2007 has been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
Shame, as was down to marshal and had been looking forward to it.

pity. but prehaps indicative of the current situation of too many events, not enough time/money.

Not sure it's too many events, think it's a few reasons - partly to do with types of events - many "down this way" do tarmac rallies and so cars are set up for that rather than forests.
A huge amount of it as well is due to the forestry commission charges....the cost for a Nissan Micra (regular car but sump guard etc so basic mods) is the same as for a 4WD WRC car - the "damage" they both cause is very different.
Rallying in the SE on a whole is on the down though - RoK cancelled, Powerush last November cancelled, Kent Road Rally cancelled, Longcross lost - not good at all.

I can't find any info on it - only last year's event. So it's not looking likely.
