Sevenoaks & District Motorclub are running a sprint at North Weald Airfield, Essex on Sunday 1st April 2007 (no joke!).
There will be an additional award at this meeting for 1400cc cars or the "shopping trolley" cars which is being put up by one of the members as an incentive for people to get out and do the sport.
Sprinting is a cheap way of enjoying motorsport - there's no ARDs or other tests to do as the license requirement is a non-race National B which can be obtained from the MSA for £34. As well as that, you will need overalls and a helmet, and other basic costs as well (eg snacks, fuel etc).
Sprinting is a good fun day out which is cheap in motorsport terms so if anyone is interested in competing please feel free to come along or ask any other questions. Regs for the event can be found here,
