Paul Stoddart has confirmed that Robert Doornbos and Yorkshireman Dan Clarke will drive for Minardi this season!

it was his rookie season
people have short memories because in the IRL, Dan Wheldon's first season was filled with crashes and mistakes!

Clarke will get better, rookie seasons are always tough

He certainly improved a lot over last season.
I thought he was better than Nelson Philippe his team mate. Nelson did win a race and score more points, but I felt that he did this because of the way he played the pit stops. NP was always going out of sequence hoping for a yellow which would catapult him to the front.
Incidentally Nelson Philippe has been bumming around the F1 garages looking for a job as a test driver. He says he wont pay for a drive in CC as he has no money!

My guess is that Phillipe will end up in some sportscar series or in Atlantics for a season
its hard to get a Champ Car seat at the moment, perhaps his only hopes would be DCR or some kind of link up with Gerry Forsythe

I would have thought that Nelson did more to earn a drive in 2007 than a certain English girl by the name of Katheryn Legge, She was truly awful and way out of her depth last year. She looked bad on every track apart from the oval they did.
She looked pretty good on the oval and actually lead at one point. I think if KL wants to continue her American career she needs to think about moving to OVALS!

i'd have thought Servia would be ideal for that team
all seems to have gone quiet for him though
Bruno Junquiera is another one but DCR usually likes drivers with money
