There have been a few instances where a poster has given away the result of an event in the thread title, thus ruining it for some other member who may have not seen the event live or may have recorded it for later viewing <no>
Various requests have been made to prevent this reoccurring, but it still happens <doh>
We don't believe that such a thing is deliberate on the part of any poster, more a result of enthusiasm and eagerness getting the better of common sense <rolleyes>
However, in the interests of fairness to everyone, even those who choose to come to the board without watching all the events or updating themselves of all results <sarcasm>, we have decided to allow members of the Admin, Moderation & Host Teams to edit a SPOILER thread title immediately, without first informing the poster via PM and waiting for response. The PM will be sent subsequently, of course <thumbsup>
We'd much rather we did not have to do this, but thats entirely upto you guys. Nothing to do with the fact that we're a lazy bunch, really <whistle>
