Hope I'm not stepping on toes here but already had a chat with The STIG about it.
I'm gonna have a go at a banner for here for the competition and as I don't know that much about Motorsports, I could do with some pointers as to what to go for.

If people wanna put ideas as to what TPL stands for etc and what should be incorporated it would be much appreciated.
I'll have a go then at a banner.

Should be noted that we're not solely an F1 board - so as many different kinds of motorsport should be represented.

Size is (and this is important) 900x150px

And the house colour is currently... Green! specifically #006600

Could I ask for a bit of help from the Admin here? I notice you have a scrolly bar for your smilies, on Centre Court, they are all spread out. Does anyone have the coding to get the scroll bar?

Welcome! I'm glad you are working with Stig. He's focusing on the pod cast, but his advice is very important.

First, all types of racing must be represented. NASCAR, Rally, F1, IRL, Historics, Touring cars, etc. If you use people, make them historic, there's less disagreement that way. F1 is our biggest draw. That means that we need to have it prominently exposed, but our growth is dependent on other classes of racing.

Somehow, track marshals must be included in the picture. A pit lane should also be in the picture. I'm only speaking for myself, not the group.

If you need details, i.e. who, what, or when, just ask. You'll get plenty of advice. When trying to decide what to do, contact the admin by PM and let them make the final decisions.

I haven't made any pre-requisite that says you can't have a F1 car up there - just that you need to try and represent as many motorsports as possible. Although some idiots around here seem to think that I'm stupid for not making out that there's only one kind of motorsport.

I have been supporting F1 for nearly 17 years, and yes, I feel that it's becoming less a sport and more a high speed business. Thank you bloody bernie ediotstone.
