900x150 - you're slightly too tall and a bit narrow!

OK, newly improved and resized.

EDIT: stupid photobucket resized it for me!

I think 900px is far too wide personally. I'm running 1280x1024 and taking into account the forum formatting, with it the forum almost reaches the edge of the screen. When running 1024x768 you get a scrollbar where the grey area around it runs off the edge of the screen. I'd be willing to be that a lot of people out there don't use resolution higher than 1024px, so they're not getting the best experience. Could the overall width not be knocked down a little, whether it be be reducing the banner (which theoretically fits) or narrowing something else?

It's because there are wide pics in the thread. Of course, technically all the banners should have been removed or resized as they break the board rules of 800px.....

The current banner is 900x150, and on my 1280x800 screen appears too narrow!

Isn't that because 1280x800 is widescreen.....?

I think a blue flag might be more appropriate. <roflmao> Just kidding!

Our skin is bland, and your colors do match the skin. So, more color would be better.

Some prefer the British racing green (WW). Some the colonial white of BMW(John), and of course there's rosso rouge (too many to mention.)

Play with it and submit them all.

Well, I went with what fits the current scheme. If's there's a ne scheme I'll have another go, I don't think it's fair to 'flood' this topic with dozens of colour variations.......
