Any of you guys interested in them? If so there is a gig in the manchester appol on the 12th october, my tickets arrived recently and i cant wait!

I know who they are (sort of) because a friend of mine goes on about them a lot, but I don't like them.

Dream Theatre is the absolute muso's band. Portnoy is a half-decent drummer but I'd rather listen to Messuggah! Enjoy the gig though dude, haven't been to the Apollo in years!

Last night was the the gig and it was phenomenal, Petrucci's shredding was just unbelievable to see live, i was right at the front and just missed out on getting one of portnoys sticks but the guy next to me had longer arms! (the git)

it'd be great to go and see them, as i missed going to see manson (with my now ex girlfriend). she still went tho.
i wanna see opeth live, as well as children of bodom and mushroomhead.
GV Legend - October 16, 2007 04:22 PM (GMT)
I think children of bodom are playing the london astoria in march nxt year so i may have to go down for that if uni work isnt too heavy, opeth would be cool to go see as well but i have no idea when they are coming manchester way!

yeah, there are some really good ones in there. Megadeth, Taste of Chaos and Iron Maiden. veronicas as well.... <think> technically i went to school with them(but they were 4 years ahead of me.)
GV Legend - October 17, 2007 10:07 AM (GMT)
thats pretty cool, my flat mate is going to aus for december but unfortunately im far too poor (damn student loan being rubbish this year) to make it down despite the invite being there.
I would love to see both megadeth and maiden but it seems that they are not scheduled to be in england anytime soon
