Paul Warwick sadly lost his life at Oulton Park.

It was a terrible day at Oulton Park 16 years ago and I remember it all too vividly. Those of you who know me well know that I NEVER wish a driver (or anyone else for that matter) "good luck". Paul was the younger brother of Derek Warwick and was very much an up and coming talented driver. I got to know him reasonably well by following the whole circus countrywide and spending time as a guest of the teams in the pit lane (before I was a marshal). He was a charming, down to earth young man and always had time to spend with fans in the paddock.

RIP Paul.

Why don't you expand this story a little and put it in the history forum. And relate that to safety, i.e. Kubica and Ham. I'd like to know more about racing at meetings such as that.
