Took a look. £30 individual membership. £90 to enter this race, plus IIRC £16.50 insurance, plus transponder. Plus cost of vehicle and associated kit..... Max three people per team...

My grandfather lives within spitting distance of the Cricketers Arms where this fine sport was apparently first formed. Still never attended the 12hr race but I'd love to. Have any of you chaps been?

I pondered going as it's literally 5/10 mins down the road from me, but it was raining by the time I got home, and the race had already started....

~This year's race was red flagged after 5 hours due to excessive mud, and result called there and then. Thus it was the 5 hour lawn mower race.

I spent 12 hours cutting my large, wet, and muddy property. The 12 hours of Maurepas! I won the open wheeled division.
