Title: Best F1 Website
Paul_Murtagh - July 29, 2007 12:48 PM (GMT)
Following on from my previous poll on F1 magazines, which website do you feel is currently the best for F1 coverage, such as race reports, up-to-the-minute news, features, games, stats, etc?

Autosport if you have a subscription. That's the only way to get the features.

I think the official F1 website has very poor quality. The only good thing is the live timing screen during a race weekend but it wouldn't kill them to stream live coverage of even the practice sessions which can't be watched in most countries. A1GP and ChampCar can stream live coverage, so why not F1

Becuase the broadcasters who pay Bernie lots of money to screen exclusive coverage of F1 would make a fuss. It's worth noting that A1GP only streams live coverage in countries where there isn't a broadcaster for A1GP in that country.
I agree, however, that the official F1 website is quite poor. I tend to go to Autosprout if I'm looking for F1 news, but to be honest, most often I just read the stories that are posted on here.

I see they've slightly changed the ITV website today, looks a lot worse tbh

Absolutely not. I hear their F1 Forum Hosts are quite dashing, too. <dunce>

Autosport is good for latest news. F1.com is good for live timing and archived results but nothing else. ITV's F1 site is poor (how is it different btw?).
I'm not bothered about live streaming of F1 because I have a TV that I can watch it on.

Show-off <busted>
I like GrandPrix.com - despite the anti-Ferrari bias <whistle>

I'll go for F1-Live, you can't access a lot of their stuff without subscription, but it seems a fair even site, with any news reports from tabloids quoting the source and the bias of the paper in question.
Example : Spanish press's take on the Hamilton/Alonso fuss, and equally the British medias version. Rather than just reporting it as found, they give both versions and they're own spin on things. I also tend to find they break a lot of news first too...
