Autosport.com - Pantano tops interrupted free session

Giorgio Pantano topped the timesheets in free practice for the GP2 Series' visit to Hungary on Friday, but the session was affected by a red flag - and some inefficient marshalling - which meant the final reckoning was skewed somewhat.

Pantano (Campos Grand Prix) lapped the Hungaroring in 1:28.992, two tenths faster than Kazuki Nakajima (DAMS), who was a further tenth up on Monaco winner Pastor Maldonado (Trident).

Luca Filippi was fourth fastest for Super Nova, ahead of series leader Timo Glock and iSport teammate Andreas Zuber.
