Qualifying 1:
http://www.superbike.it/result.php?p_S_Cam...&p_Sessione=Q1ASo far it's pretty tight between Toseland and Bayliss. But poor Max Biaggi. Brands isn't the sort of place to come to as a rookie fighting for the title. He must have looked at the place and gone <yikes>

Finally at long last, after 7 years of trying James Toseland has done the double. With him off to MotoGP I thought it would never happen.
And what a place to do it, in front of 126'000 fans at Brands Hatch.
They were not really classic races but I doubt the crowd much cared. Though Haga put up a much tougher fight in Race 2, in the end the result was not in much doubt.
So that places Toseland 66 points ahead with 6 races to go. Looking good for the rest of the year.
Credit to Max Biaggi for adapting so quickly to Brands. He got a ride through penalty in race 2, but otherwise he steadily got faster and faster, that is a great performance for a Brands rookie, even one with such racing experience.
