Well look at it
The Ford is overly fussy. Too many colour changes, and snot green doesn't go very well with everything else.
The subaru is very simple in comparison. bold and striking. nice colour contrast between the blue and the yellow.

I don't like the road version, but I think this rally version looks the dog's wotsits.
it's all agression. it looks like it's going to eat you. The ford looks only mildly annoyed.

i'll shake things up a bit..
Subaru : built for rallying, looks are sharp, handles excellently, good get up and go, good drivers, good paint schemes.. bit overworked with blue and yellow. time for a revamp
Ford: alright at rallies, looks are smooth and almost evil, handles well, gets going well enough, dirvers are alright, paint scheme is fresh..
my choice: Go Skoda! <dance> (i love going for the underdog)
