<doh>

Would it not have made sense to find financial backing BEFORE scheduling a race?

Andy, you have a lot to learn my friend

This is Champ Car, They don’t make intelligent decisions or even intelligent predictions

At the start of the year Mr Kalkhoven guaran-damn-teed there would be 24 cars on the grid come the first race

Erm, hmmm, 17 actually turned up

Then remember that he finances half the grid himself it wasn’t exactly a good prediction

Now those backers he wanted aren’t coming forward it’s made him look silly again

It’s hard to have any sympathy for Champ Car and it’s slowly dying series, and it’s hard to have any sympathy for it’s fans either

Such a shame CART had to be so narrow minded in the early 90’s and hold so many people’s heads under water

Well, it’s the other way round now!

Keep up the good work Tony! Your winning all the way

I was rather disappointed when I heard about this as I was thinking about going over to marshal the race. Looks like I'll have to wait for the double header at the start of 08.
