http://www.crash.net/home~cid~5.htmNot the best races, Troy Bayliss shot off into the lead of the first one, but his tyres were quickly screwed and Haga caught him and cleared off. James Toseland was also a victim of poor tyre choice and limped home in ninth losing a good 14 points of his lead to Haga.
Race 2 was much better, it looked like a repeat of race 1 when Haga closed down a fast starting Bayliss, when Bayliss went off it looked like that was that, but Bayliss fought back and retook Haga. Biaggi was marooned in third. Deeply funny was Troy Corser trying to pass JT for nearly 15 laps and failing. You kind of felt Biaggi, Haga and co would have got past quickly, but the other Troy just can't pass to save his life.
JT's lead over Haga is now down to 41 points. Comfortable but he won't want another weekend like this at Vallelunga.
Really the amount of dull races across all race series is getting a bit depressing at the moment. If it wasn't for the BTCC it would be the dullest period I can remember in racing. (Politics aside of course)
