ORDERING THRUXTON TOURING CAR TICKETS ??
PLEASE READ THESE NOTES - THE IMMINENT POSTAL STRIKES
WILL AFFECT YOUR TICKET ORDERS
* STOP PRESS - The Royal Mail have announced Postal Strikes commencing early in October, and we are unable to guarantee the safe delivery of tickets in time for the race meeting.
We are therefore changing the arrangements and dates for the sale of "advance" tickets as follows :
WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT, WE WILL NOT BE POSTING ANY MORE RACE MEETING TICKETS TO OUR CUSTOMERS.
The tickets will be retained at Thruxton for collection from a Ticket Collection Point upon your arrival at the race meeting. The location of the Ticket Collection Point will be well signposted, and the Security Staff will all know where it is located.
The Ticket Collection Point will be open from 7.00 am to 11.00 am on both Saturday 13th October and Sunday 14th October, and tickets must be collected during these times.
Internet customers will be required to produce their WorldPay receipt or other confirmation paperwork at the Ticket Collection Point. Telephone or postal customers will be required to produce the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
The facility to purchase "advance" Touring Car Race Meeting tickets will be withdrawn at 3.00 pm on Wednesday 10th October. After this time, tickets will only be sold at "on-the-day" prices.
Thankfully had mine a couple of days ago <thumbsup>
How many postal strikes is there going to be? This is about the 5th or 6th within a year!
Good to see that Thruxton are going to hold the tickets so all the fans can still go. Many sporting events would just send them and offer a refund after even though the fans never got to see the event
