Title: My pics of the F2007

Paul_Murtagh - October 2, 2007 04:20 PM (GMT)
These are from the display F2007 that recently visited Belfast. It was an unbelievable experience to be up close to one and actually sit in one. They are more comfortable than I thought although I'm sure my opinion would change if I was going 200mph just an inch off the ground!

Very nice pics! <clap>

Nice pics Paul. <thumbsup>

I got to sit in Senna's McLaren at Brooklands museum a couple of years ago. One of the helpers there let the mini Ford's sit in it and I was making fun of them getting out so he made me get in. Was a bit of a tight squeeze and I lost my shoe getting out of it - had to send micro Ford in head first to get it back <roflmao>

Both me and Paul G have sat in Jens Button's Honda from 2003. Paul turned out to be far too tall, and I couldn't see over the dashboard! Guess who had the more problems getting out though.

Did anyone else notice this 2007 Ferrari says Schumacher.

Apparently they put Schumacher's name on it to draw people to see it, but it is this season's car and livery. I pulled them about this as well and they were a bit shocked that I knew what I was talking about!

I'm surprised - the amount of coverage Schumacher's retirement got in the media (totally eclipsing the small matter of, say, the youngest ever multiple world champion) means that nobody could plausibly be expected to believe that he was still racing.

I sat in Raikkonens car in the ferrari shop in Rome, great pics Paul its a beautiful car.

I didn't sit in the Renault at Donington, although I did manage to get up close and personal to it (thanks again, WW!) They are amazing cars when you see them up close.

No Grand Prix cars but I did sit in Keke Rosberg's ex Fred Opert Racing's Chevron B40 at Oulton Park a few years. What an honour to sit in one of Derek Bennett's cars!

Lovely Ferrari pics though dude, there's nothing quite like a contemporary GP car up close!

See the other identical thread - I spotted that one a day or so ago. I'm also convinced it's not a 2007, the wings and sidepod openings are wrong. I think it's a 2005/6 car in this year's livery.

The STIG - October 3, 2007 03:32 PM (GMT)
If you take a look at this picture, you can see the chassis plate - and it doesn't look like F2007 to me, more like 2006 or 2005...

I think it is a 2006 Ferrari Norbs. I was told it was a 2007 Ferrari when I arrived but the more I study the pics the more it looks like an F2006 painted in this year's livery
