Autosport.com - New car passes F1 crash testsThe new GP2/08 car has become the only car outside of Formula One to pass every aspect of the latest FIA F1 crash tests.
The chassis, which will be used in the GP2 Series from 2008-2010, passed the final aspect of the tests on Thursday.
A statement from the series said: "The GP2 Series is incredibly proud to have its new car homologated to the highest FIA safety standards.Well done to Dallara for building a strong chassis. At least the drivers can race knowing they have the highest safety standards available

Just hope they don't need to test them on the track
