I shall post pictures when I've downloaded them but I saw some beautiful old cars at Curborough today.
One of them was an Alvis from the 1920s, several others were Austin 7s of varying age.
The technology was simple, but the cars were beautiful. One, which had been lovingly restored, was covered in British Racing Green leatherette. Another still had the wicker picnic hamper very securely fastened to the boot.
Once I have uploaded the pictures to my gallery I'll discuss the technology of the day.
I hate being teased! Post the photos!
I will, just as soon as 'imself gets round to downloading them. Lazy sod hasn't done it yet.
