The boss of Ten Kate Honda, Roland Ten Kate was interviewed on Crash radio and confirmed that next year Ten Kate will have Carlos Checa/Ryuichi Kiyonari and Kenan Sofuoglu.
He said it was a strong line up. He didn't sound all that convinced. I work on a very simple equation. Checa not as good as Biaggi in MotoGP therefore not as good as him in WSB.
I hope Honda know what they've let themselves in for.
A very hefty repair bill. <hitwall> <hitwall>
I guess they'll be hoping that Sofouglu will carry his form into SBK <unsure>
Otherwise, Ducati may have it very easy next year.

i seem to remember it was JT who crashed at suzuka and not checa.....
he seemed to do a pretty good job on the CBR....
maybe he has learnt how to stop over-reaching the limits of his tyres after a season on dunlops. who knows, he might just be very good in WSB so why not let him at least do a few races before you condemn him?
<nono>
I remember a crash video from a few years back where he was injured and got replaced with someone. This person binned it at some stage in the event, and it appeared on the vid, with the commentator suggesting "he doesn't fall off very often, but the bike knows all about crashes - it's Checa's bike...."
