This is pretty sad news as Max made a real go of his ride on the Alstare Suzuki this year. With Max's massive profile in Italy you'd think that the organisers might have tried to organise something, but it looks like Max will be following James Toseland to MotoGP. A real shame for WSB.
Story here
its not a given that max will go to gresini but if he does, then they will probably need a different bike supplier...
;)
WSB will be poorer for the loss of max and i would have hoped that someone would step up and offer him the salary he wants. if the bike is competitive, he would probably win the championship.....
(is ducati taking notes here?)
<thumbsup>
WSB needs to capture some more big names. Losing Toseland was a big blow, but to lose Biaggi as well will be a huge dent in the popularity of the sport. Let's hope that a new generation of riders can capture the imagination and keep it's popularity up
Terrible shame as i have really enjoyed the action this year which made a change from Moto Gp which was not very close.
Fear for the series next year without Toseland and now Biaggi <no>
Its a pity <no> Going by this years performance, I thought Biaggi had a very decent shot at the title next year.
Next year will be the poorer for this, but hopefully the others can make a good season of it. I'd like to see how Sofuoglu fares and if Ducati can get back to winning ways. Haga <bow>
