F1. PUB QUIZ WINTER SERIES.

I intend to run a 'pub quiz' over the Winter to keep boredom at bay.
The format will be 10 rounds of 20 questions each. Answers to be submitted by 'pm' (for obvious reasons).
I am running the same thing on another forum and will try to put together some form of inter-forum competition. Anybody interested watch this section for the first round next Sunday (30th November).
There will also be a 'Christmas special' which will be purely for fun and will not count towards the scores.

Just to give you a sample, some questions from an earlier effort for you to practice on.

1. What was the usual colour of Leyton House cars?
2. Who did Mauricio share a house in Esher with?
3. Who scored the first win in a 'shark nose' Ferrari?
4. What sport did Ukyo Katayama take up when he rtetired from F1?
5 Who was the high profile sponsor of Surtees in 1976?

I just hope it is worth the effort.

As you say, impossible to police.
I know at least two members of the of another forum were using the web.
(One answer to a question about an accident at Monaco was followed by, 'thank heaven for Youtube').

So does that mean it's acceptable or not? Personally, I doubt I'd get more than 2 or three right without looking it up. I'm not bothered about that if we are in agreement that it is OK, but at the same time I don't want to be classified a cheat if I look up the answers on Google and everyone else has agreed not to!
